We are a small group who meet monthly in members' houses. We choose mainly modern novels and for practical reasons avoid anything which is very lengthy. The books are chosen a few months in advance following recommendations and the interests of the members. Recently we have read books by Joanna Cannon, Bonnie Garmus, Maggie O'Farrell, Robert Edric and enjoyed lively discussions on them.

We are a friendly group and would welcome new members of both sexes. Do men join book groups? We have no men in our group; this is not deliberate, no one’s joined. Why not try ours?
